Changed the title of the thread. So it's confirmed. Next on my list is a new audio interface. Its been on there for a few years but I lost all motivation to make any music and had to sort some financial things first. The motivation is finally returning to make music again :) I'm holding back though....

You only really need a strobe , laser, (and maybe a red light in the room somewhere) to listen to music properly. I think they have missed the mark here.

Life has just got in the way of things lately. Had covid recently. Work has been mad the last few months as someone left and wasn't replaced. Means more working away from home etc. And generally just knackered by the end of the week. I just want to switch off and not do anything at the weekends etc....

Yeah we all had to too. Properly wiped out my wife. I was bad but recovered well. Its a long process.

The kids had very mild symptoms and almost recovered in a few days. I wish I was still young haha.

I think im the opposite tbh. If I try and replicate i fail big time. If I just do my own thing I fail much less

Yeah he's a bit of a legend in the UK rave scene. Played a major part in the early 90s Jungle Techno genre, had commercial success several times and has made music for TV and film. He is still making music today.

Whats your thoughts on satin versus the softube tape emulation? I was looking into a tape vst a while ago and think I remember It was recommended that softube was the one to have.

Apparently he was working away from home when he passed away. Maybe that needs to be confirmed but it shows how dedicated he was to his work. I also read that he sold his business (or part of to novation) perhaps he was ill for sometime.. What a legend though. Creator of many things in his lifetime.
