Controller recommendations
So I have an apc40 and love that it syncs to ableton native VSTs automatically. However I very rarely use the faders and launch keys. I'm in the market for a compact midi controller consisting of mainly knobs, which also syncs to ableton without having to map anything manually. Anyone???
Cheers!

Re: Help!
Certainly not the case, don't always assume ya cunt. D16 is on Interpol
Re: Help!
Thanks ozias, that's probably the most immediate way outta this mess. @ void, when I render the audio in ableton the kid becomes dull, the sub is almost non existent and the highs loss plenty of desired frequency.
Help!
Hi all been a while since I posted. I'm kind stuck in state of frustration right now and need some help. I have a track that once bounced from ableton to my desktop, loses a bunch of quality in both aif or wav formats. they almost sound like completely different loops when played in succession . I'v...

Re: Sandwell District like industrials backgrounds
there was a post of similair variety a few months ago. i think you may be over thinking this. sample a saw wave, drown it in reverb and delay, resample, filter, dealy, filter-delay, resample, filter, etc. etc. but........ there is more than one way to skin a cat!!!

Re: underrated / overrated
adam x helped mold this whole techno scene, i really dont understand the negativity. his new ep on suicide circus is pretty badass. mike parker is another dude that has had his head down and has cracked out tunes for basically 2 decades, theyre not for everyone. i just scoop his most recent 12" toda...

i have a dx21 that i havent used in months, its not a small machine. i do like the dx sound better than operators but the lack of automation and convenience have led me to use operator wayyyy more often

Re: How to make a . track...
@hades i met terrence last year and he mentioned how much he uses his 303. i have one and could never, ever in a million years, imagine how he pulls his tunes out of that godforsaken machine. its basically an extension of his mind at this point.

Re: How to make a . track...
terrence dixon uses an mc303 almost exclusively for his trax and i love his work. theres no synthesis on that machine its all presets. a tune is a tune and shitty techhouse is still shitty techhouse. go figure.
