Re: Sequencer for live set
Yes Hades I think I will resuscitate the old Roland sequencer, also because I spoke with Olivier @ Mutable Instruments and he told me that what I want to do it's complicated to do it with the midiPal so I don't have many options. it's weird cause it's a really basic operation that I need to do, just...

Re: Sequencer for live set
yes I could do that, but the old midi seq I have is really hard to use and to program, I remember I used it for drums in a punk band and wasn't so easy to use.

Re: Cool Techno music videos
do we have a thread for live set videos or similars?
I am going to post it here, it made my day at work yesterday so I'll share it with the Subs.

Re: Sequencer for live set
Thanks, I was also looking for the Europa but kinda out of budget atm. I have a very old Roland midi sequencer that reads floppy disks and, besides the fact that i cannot write floppys anymore, I could use it somehow. Lately I have been unboxing lots of shitty machines I thought I would never use ag...

Re: Drum machines
I own a Mfb522 and it's really strong and deep sounding, the only problem is the low quality of the case and the connections.. really noisy and sometimes crancky. but the sound is impressive. I also have a very cheap Roland TR-505 which comes in handy often. Anyway it depends on what you have to do.

one good thing I discovered about Bitwig is that it's going to be released on all platforms, Linux included. this is kinda exceptional, isn'it?
