Re: Xfer's Serum - new brilliant wavetable softsynth

Where is my beer ??? Brand and address? Yeah, I might have been a bit overexcited, just like I was with the mangle. Hype is a hell of a drug. I guess that's what I get for trying to be cool on subsekt, but the amount of negativity is a bit over the top here. The 3d stuff is nice for noobs like me t...

Xfer's Serum - new brilliant wavetable softsynth

This synth... Don't think there's ever been a vst that I liked as much as Serum right now. Try the demo, even if you don't usually like software. http://www.xferrecords.com/products/serum/ TYhnSuuVqBE I could go on with compliments on this forever I think, it's absurd. The presets are glorious, the ...

Re: Sudden Hearing Loss

That's the thing, I've always had things like the TV and earplugs at lower volumes because for me it doesn't need to be loud. When people use a tv before me I almost always turn down the volume because it seems too loud for me. So it can't really be that, at least I think. My ears get enough rest at...

Re: Sudden Hearing Loss

I've heard from some people getting a lot of the issues removed by just getting their ears cleaned, so I'm getting that done at least. I think getting it treated professionally will cost me too much, sadly :/

Sudden Hearing Loss

Something I've been wanting to talk about: hearing loss, as well as sudden hearing loss. I've always had slight tinnitus as a child, as far as I can remember there was always a minor buzz when laying in bed in a silent room, couldn't really figure out what it was and I thought everyone had it. Until...

I really want the Dutch to win, but I think germany has been playing too brilliantly to lose now.

Well the card is internal so I can't take it out, or replace it with a better one, that's the thing.

I could try saving the images to dropbox or something, will see what works.

Re: First hard synth ideas?

When I was looking up microbrute reviews they did bring up that you can't save patches, and I was like "That's cool, I'll get so good I can make them on the spot, no problem." Yeah, no. It's going to sound different. Apart from that, love the machine, the price was just too good. So happy I didn't g...

Re: The 2014 World Cup Topic

But hey, looks like the mannschaft is going to take over again. Man, such a military word : mannschaft. Not to be confused with man shaft. I'd love to see Holland win, Rotterdam's city centre went absolute apeshit when we won the penalties against costa rica, would love to see what happens if we ge...

Re: First hard synth ideas?

But be careful, if you go too long you might get sick of the track and find that you can't bring yourself to record it just because you hate it so much. Oh I hate everything I make, I'm used to that haha. Perfectionism combined with lazyness is a hard way of living. I did record a bassline in a pro...

Re: First hard synth ideas?

I have had my microbrute for a while now, and while I love the sounds it makes and how you can tweak around so much better than with softsynths, I find it hard to be really productive with it. Any tips on how to skip the *I might want to change this sounds so I "can't" export it yet* phase? I'm curr...

Re: Processing Stabs

Every time I open a topic in this section, so much knowledge and ideas.
I can't help but wonder why most people here (as far as I know, of course) aren't high up there with the gods. I guess being up there isn't dark.

Re: Interviews

I figured a 3 day old topic about interviews with 7 pages worth of posts was a bit strange, now I see. Subsekt as per usual I suppose? I like it. About the Procurator thing there. If you had left out the main clonk sound (that appears from start) it would probably have passed yeah. Still, I think ri...

Regarding producing: As a 21 year old without a well paid job, I still live with my dad, so telling him to fuck off might be a bit too much. I don't really concentrate that well anyways. Headphones on works best for me, and that coincidentally tells people you're busy. Other than that, turning up th...
