Re: Synth help! Rrose remix of Dadub
cool nice, and yeah i agree -- his tunes just fold in on themselves and do weird shit the whole time, so interesting to listen too, i find that with Xhin aswell

Synth help! Rrose remix of Dadub
Yo guys, how do you think the synth might be created in this tune, it starts of more percussive then gets more tone and "synthy like" at around 1 minute. More importantly than the synth sound its self how do you thing the pinging effect is created? it sounds tight and quick and carries the song nice...

Re: Wooden vinyl
It wooden't be better than vinyl, that's fir sure. Tree of those wood weigh a ton, never mind a whole collection of elm. I understand why people like to branch put with these new ideas, but as a gimmick, this one is bark-ing mad. I hope someone gets to the roots of this and nips it in the bud befor...

Re: May Bank Holiday Weekend
Leeds is poor for techno. My mates run a house night called mono_cult there and everyone's just there because it's "cool" to be there. No knowledge of music what so ever. People have put on Strobo nights and had bookings like Surgeon to try and get a bit of a techno scene going but no one is intere...

Re: Sandwell District on Billboard Mag
Maybe commercial is the wrong word, palatable and safe is probably more appropriate. I mean, they sold tons, so for techno it could hardly be considered an underground label, they did/do all the big gigs, magazine reviews etc, it was just very clever marketing, reap propriating the industrial manif...

Re: New project - great if anyone can take a listen.
The background noises that you have got going on here are awesome. I'm not a fan of the 'horn/drone' that comes in every so often. But the 'metallic jet engine' soundscape is the BOLLOCKS. Haha they are a bit intense!... i might tone them down a bit and blend it onto the soundscape more, glad you e...
