Re: Hardest part of the process
Starting an idea is probably that will lead into a song is the hardest part. That's a whole other story in general, having the right kind of energy at the moment along with having inspiration

Re: Amygdala - Impasse
Agreed with dubdub. The bass seems a bit too flappy or side chained heavily. Dying for some low end in there. The idea is good but I feel like it lacks drive when listening to it. Think what would help it out is to make your percussions stick out a bit more, they seem to be in the background.

Ehhhhh, I would use it as reference, but not as the truth. Each club has a different setup.

Squill - Init
After a neccisary break, got back into the studio this weekend and finished this up. Bit of a fusion type of track. Let me know what you guys think. Open to all feedback, mix wise/musically

Re: Is there any point in releasing music these days.
I guess it depends on your view of it all. This has been covered in the thread already, but talking from experience, if you want to play more shows, get your work noticed, etc, you have to be consistent in releasing music. You can have a few hit or misses but as long as your consistent, you’ll do fi...

Re: Starrk - Gambit Accepted
Very different to what i'm used to hearing. Sounds a bit like a movie score, i like it. Only thing I would say is the kick sounds a bit too tight, but that's just based on taste.

Hey a little late here =p but thanks for all the feedback guys! And Wayfinder, not too sure yet where to put this, I made two other tracks the week after that I think would really do well on the labels that I wanted to pitch this to originally. Probably the labels more on the progressive side cause ...

Solid as fuck. Bassline is on point. Hits you in your face. Gonna nit pick a bit here with the feedback, it's subjective, but I think this will fit for your track and style you're going for. The plucks got a bit too much high end imo and sound a bit too polished. Would dirty them up a bit or EQ some...

Re: Prophän & Waal - Qôbol
Structure is solid mane. Dark spacey shit i love. I would work a bit more on the rolling bassline and kick though. Just a bit more mids in the bass, and the kick has a bit too much high end? Would either EQ it out or change the kick. Im just nit picking here but good track overall.

Re: how do you think techno will sound in the coming years?

Subterranean or a bit below the earths mantle? Tomorrowland has been doing techno ...

Re: how do you think techno will sound in the coming years?
"#Techno #tacos #cats and #pizza" You got either this obnoxiousness or the generic vantablack trend going on here in the states everyone is following. I kind of see this bubble bursting for some people here soon. It will always have its proper place in the underground and for the people who truly lo...

That mid synth you got, deff tone it down and EQ that bad boy. The pluck you got too would add a bit more verb and delay to it. Nice stuff though so far, dirty as hell
