Dang it! I missed last one about those murder kicks...
Bummer, bit I'm glad I can still watch recording

Thank you very much!
Went into the details of that Industrial Kick Rack yesterday. Also happy to offer 30% off Gullfoss, if that's what you're into (code: rktic30).

Here's an updated version of that rack:

Re: Sound Design streams against isolation
I still have that original one saved as "rtick kick destroyer"
I'm looking forward to check out new version, last one really opened my eyes in terms of using (or abusing, hehe) distortion and how tiny bits stack up towards bigger goal.
And probably longest chain I've ever seen
Although, I've been wondering, what are your opinion on band splitting and effecting each band separately? Too much hassle? Phase issues being way too problematic? I know it's a common technique in dnb realms, especially to create those monster tearing bass lines and they do use similar techniques to layer kicks (although they prefer to actually layer different sounds for each band or part, eg. Transient, body & tail)

@rktic Really nice videos, I enjoyed a lot, hopefully you wont stop streaming : ) Good luck!
Re: Sound Design streams against isolation
These streams are fantastic. Thank you very much! I really enjoyed the downwards one as well as the drone stuff.
Re: Sound Design streams against isolation
Really enjoyed these Ronny.
I think the main thing that I learned (or relearned) was to take my time and not be impatient when trying things out.
It's also very obvious how much your experience helps you make decisions, that you can listen to a sound for a minute, tweak it so slightly and just know it will sit better in the mix or, if it doesn't work so well, go back to how it was originally.
Anyway, just chipping in to say thanks for taking the time to do these streams and for sharing them ..
