Re: Amøbe - SiqTAr
Great track, i like the sounds and mix.
I think it could really lift if you put some more attention to the chords/harmonics, but thats just my opinion.

Re: Martin Gottfridsson - Luftslott
That was gorgeous! I'm usually not too much into ambient techno, but this one really gave me that tranquil vibe. It kinda reminded me of some long-ass sets I have seen on Berghain 10 years ago - some of the DJs could go into really etherical places from time to time, and this one could easily have ...

I think its a beautiful track, I really enjoyed it. It reminds me a little of a producer called "Yagya".

Thanks for your reply!
You are right about the title, that was just a "working name", didnt come up with anything when i uploaded it but regretted it instantly.
Thanks for your input on the mix, i will keep that in mind and revisit it and try some adjustments.

Re: Field(recording)trip tips
Has anyone tried these mic addons for your phone? Seems a bit less awkward than walking around with a field recorder, especially around people. I use one, its called shure mv88. I used to have a zoom h1 but lost it and got this instead. One big benefit, apart from the one you mentioned, is that you...

Re: How the upper classes co-opt dance music culture
I dont know, i didnt read the whole article but i think both sides are equally pathetic, both the fakers and the "gatekeepers of the true underground".
Both sides are just a search for identity in my opinion.

Distortion plugins?
Hi!
Do you have any tips for nice distortion/saturation plugins to use for sounddesign? Im a bit bored with the ones i use and would like some new colors.
Also, i would like to hear if you have some techniques or tricks for distortion?

Recording live arrangements
Hi!
My arrangements usually becomes very flat, with really rough automations when i record live.
I realise i need to practice more, and things will sound better with time, but im interested to hear about your process/thoughts/ideas about recording your arrangements live.

Re: Processing field recordings
Thanks for great feedback! Im a little anxious when it comes to these things, manic chaos has been my way of working in the past
Maybe i can ask if you have any ideas on picking samples for building drum kits? Do you do that?

When ive done this before ive just been dragging the recordings into the current project and scanning to see what i can find that fits the track im working on. Sample editor?
Hi! Im looking for a sample editor, to do tasks like cutting up and sorting field recordings etc. In the past i have done this within ableton, dragging the raw files in to the project and doing the editing within the project. Now i would like to do more "pre processing" and sorting of my recordings ...
