Re: Sienna by Acustica Audio
Crossfeed is definitely the no.1 tool for getting a much better mixes out of headphones and Canopener has the most transparent crossfeed I ever heard, it’s even more clean than an analog crossfeed on expensive SPL Phonitors. However, I’m still trying to find out the best settings as I want my music ...

Re: Favourite techno DJ?
Too many favorite djs but Polar Inertia and Stanislav Tolkachev came first to my mind. And I also remember R.Hawti n playing proper techno (not joking) in a really small underground location for maybe 200 ppl and it was epic.

Re: Nearfield Monitors
I believe the differences are in measurements and also in EQ and its DSP. I was also never happy with the Sonarworks settings, too weird.

Re: Nearfield Monitors
Whenever my trusty AKG 701's break down, I'm thinking of switching to those ER4XRS. I live in an apartment and I mix on my headphones most of the time already. Do you use software like Sonarworks Headphone in combination or is it not necessary? The Sonarworks setting is too weird. When dealing with...

Re: Nearfield Monitors
Wouldn’t this be a step down from current set up (rm-07s + sonarworks)? I was thinking of moving down to 5 inches but more than willing to give these MTMs ago if they’re more appropriate for a shoebox. The best would be to try them out in your room. They sounds 2-3x above their price in terms of qu...

Re: Behringer X16 / XR18 / X18 [Digital Mixers / Soundcard / Ableton / Studio]
Yamaha MGP series... Thanks! They look decent enough, though a tad too big (and heavy). Besides, it's just one aux with a return, one aux is pre only, and two internal fx. The MG16 looks interesting though, or the little analogue Midas 16ch. I'm looking for something that doesn't require a car, oth...

Re: Behringer X16 / XR18 / X18 [Digital Mixers / Soundcard / Ableton / Studio]
looks like a winner, then! I'm looking for a small analogue mixer in the same price range, but it's practically impossible to find a real decent one at that price. Most of these small mixers don't even have returns for fx (not even a 1500€ Dynacord), having to sacrifice at least 2 channels if you w...

I'm using it for both DT and DN and found it highly useful for processing all channels separately.
