Re: No DAW Setup, MPC ONE + ??????
I was using a Microfreak with my mpc one, u till I decided I wanted just samplers in my studio.
Great synth, versatile - does dub techno style chords, esoteric pad, gnarly sounds. Has a modular feel to it, and if the keyboard isn't for you, you can take it out and have a module version.

Re: Behringer XR18 / X18
I have one, and it's great. Routing options for days, internal fx that are better than just OK, works online or offline. It's a digital mixer, and the faders are controlled via an app, or using your mouse. I have an old midi controller set up to control it myself. For the money you'll be hard presse...

Re: Pfl on the tr8s?
Answering here again, because it's impressive how stupid man can be and how it's possible go to extremes and overcomplicate things. If you have already a mixer in which your TR8S is connected, then the easiest way is just to connect other headphones into TR8S's headphone jack and keep the fa...

Re: Any great free 64bit Filter VST's?
Arturia has its moog filter vst, which is cool. Has a sequencer, and is free.
Fromage is another decent freebie.

Re: Pfl on the tr8s?
Pre Fade Listen - like when you're using a mixer, and you take a listen to what's playing before raising the fader.

Pfl on the tr8s?
Evening all. Longtime lurker, first time poster. Been doing some stuff with a friend, we've put out a couple of eps and are booked to do some gigs in the warmer months. Currently using the octatrack mk2, tt 303, microfreak, DSI Mopho and my friend uses the tr8s. As we are looking to have a lot of im...
